ABOUT 

Hi! I am Christin Snyders, a German photographer based in Düsseldorf. My journey into photography was somewhat unconventional. It started with a degree in Communication Design, followed by establishing my own scouting agency. I then spent several years working closely with international modelling agencies, discovering and placing new faces around the world.

However, somewhere between castings and contracts, I realised that I was standing right next to where I actually wanted to be: behind the camera. So I shifted my focus. I moved to London to work as an assistant and learn about the industry from the inside out. I then completed a Master‘s degree in Photographic Studies at FH Dortmund. Today, I work freelance, combining all of these experiences to offer a perspective that is both intuitive and industry-aware. 

CREATION

I create images where precision meets emotion. My background in casting and production influences the way I see things – I think in terms of faces, energy and flow as well as light and composition. I am drawn to individuality, bold femininity and the small details that make an image linger: the way colours interact, the tension in a pose and the quiet strength in a look. My work exists somewhere between precision and playfulness, and always aims to feel slightly unexpected.
